Entering the Seattle scene in 2024, Sharkeologist (rhymes with archeologist) blends elements of indie, punk, pop, and grunge into an emotionally charged sonic experience. Danceable rhythms, catchy riffs, and ethereal keys combine with catchy lyrics that get stuck in your ears for days. Songwriter Jeff Grant composed the first 11 songs and partnered with producer Jesse Mazur to release the first album, The Last Gasp. Mazur subsequently jumped at the opportunity to join the band, and with the addition of Aaron Stayman, Joel Hoyer, Shawn Schlogel, and Rick Weber the band started playing shows across the Pacific NorthWest.
